Nice movie, but I always though Uncle Billy shoulda gotten his ass kicked for losing all that money.

I meant "thought," of course.

LOVE LOVE LOVE... there's a reason it's cliche to love this.

These are my favorite Christmas movies:

- A Christmae Story
- Home Alone
- It's a Wonderful Life
- A Miracle on 34th Street
- The Muppet Christmas Carol

And "A Nightmare Before Christmas" comes close, but I don't really think of it as a holiday movie.

The Muppet movie is a sentimental favorite. Not exemplary filmmaking but I love it so who cares? Same with Home Alone, but that at least struck the cultural nerve to at least be considered (deservedly) a classic.

34th Street is just grand.

But It's a Wonderful Life and A Christmas Story are so perfect. Absolutely transcendent movies that would work even if viewed outside the holiday context.
