Nothing gets me more than It's A Wonderful Life. I start crying right at the beginning, when everyone is praying. I'm tearing up thinking about it!

My favorite Christmas movie.. "Miracle on 34th Street" with a great Natalie Wood.

Not "It's a Wonderful Life" ..

It's my favorite Christmas movie too. Though I find myself pleasantly surprised by how many genuinely good Christmas movies came out in the 1940s. To think I once spoke of how only this and It's a Wonderful Life were the only good holiday films to come out of that decade...

I hate to be a scrooge, but MIRACLE ON 34TH is nothing but a macys ad.

Such a beautiful film! I sit down with my dad and watch it (and several others, one of our xmas traditions) every year! :o)

Am not usually one to plug my own website, but now over the holidays I'm going to be doing a series of posts about various Christmas traditions (mine is such an eclectic family who have spent many Christmases in many different places, so we've picked up bits and pieces from here and there...), so if you're at all curious about some traditions in other places of the world (namely Spain), check it out! and share some of yours in the comments!

and Chris, it might feel just like a Macy's add to those who have access to a Macys, but for those of us who don't (let alone those people who've never heard of Macy's), it's just another backdrop for a lovely little story!
